Great advice! Although my kids not not do much traveling when they were younger, we did take them on trips when they were school age. Yup, pulled them out of school. I still remember going to Florida and visiting the Kennedy Space Centre. When they got back, they knew more about it than their teacher. They even aced a test without being there for the content. Just proves that travel is more than just looking at scenery; it helps educate kids in other ways.
